Viscount offers both the novice and experienced stalkers with more than 3000 acres of woodland stalking, over two exclusive private estates. Situated within the Sussex High Weald, South-East England, both estates sit at the foot of the Ashdown Forest, an area once enclosed as a royal deer park and now known for its high density of fallow deer.

The majority of stalking offered is for fallow deer between August 1st and April 30th. There is also the opportunity to stalk roe deer from April 1st until February 28th and muntjac can be stalked all year round. Both estates consist of a mixture of broadleaf woodland, conifer plantations, arable fields and set-aside, providing the perfect habitat for deer and a fantastic environment for deer stalkers to enjoy their sport.

Over 200 fallow deer are culled each year between the two estates, and a successful stalk will contribute to the annual cull program of each estate.

Clients looking specifically for the chance to take a trophy animal should contact Viscount and discuss this prior to booking.

All equipment including: estate rifle, 4x4 transport and extraction vehicles can be provided FREE of charge.
